Mercedes-Benz to provide customers with VAT reduction

The Vat reduction that the government has implemented will be available on new Mercedes-Benz models.

Last week Chancellor Alistair Darling announced that the VAT level would be cut by 2.5 per cent from 17.5 per cent to 15 per cent.

Mercedes-Benz will pass this reduction onto customers from today.

The VAT reductions apply to all vehicles in the Mercedes-Benz and smart range, while also to delivery charges, service and official parts.
Visitors to Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey will also benefit from the reduction as the VAT has been cut on all of its services, driving experiences, food and drink and boutique items.
