Newcastle Building Society enters car insurance market
Newcastle Building Society has launched a new motor insurance policy to complement its range of insurance products.
The firm claims that customers interested in the cover can obtain "an immediate quote for a tailored policy to suit their needs" through a designated service.
Among the selling points of the company's range of motor insurance products is the provision of a courtesy car on comprehensive policies while your vehicle is being repaired.
Further features are a claims helpline which is open 24 hours a day 365 days per year and an optional protected no claims discount if you are over 25 and have four years claim-free motoring.
Steven Marks, lending and operations executive Newcastle Building Society, said: "I am delighted to announce the launch of Newcastle's new Motor Insurance service.
"While there is never an ideal time to make a claim, by taking out motor insurance through Newcastle Building Society, customers are given the piece of mind that they can get in touch with our helpline 365 days a year."
